Rawr, yes, I know. I’ve been gone for so long! But fear not, my loyal readers! I’ll be hitting the keyboard again soon, cranking out all these chapters and fics you’ve been waiting so patiently for. So, I’m finally all settled in at my college, started classes already, enjoying life away from home. So yes, I’ve been busy, but I’m going to make time for all my loyal readers and their wants and needs.

I’ve been getting lots of requests for hentai, and I am ecstatic! You can not believe how badly I want to write some hot, steamy lemons! Being deprived as I am, my imagination has been running WILD !! It’s going to be complete and utter torture, but you know how teishou loves that sexual tension.

Remember that Youko/Kagome fic I mentioned earlier? Well hot damn, I’ve got quite the wind of inspiration fanning my writing flame. I’ve got a title in mind, Thievery by Other Means. How does that sound? I’m pretty sure I’ll stick to it, unless I alter the story line or find something better. Well, what am I doing here? I’m off to go write me a fic!

Entwined in the Legend of Genbu

It is not well known, but my favorite manga series is Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden. You can find out more about FYGK here: #mce_temp_url# An acquaintance of mine recommended it to me a few years ago, but I had long since known of the author/artist, Yuu Watase, who is—surprise, surprise—my favorite manga author & artist. Watase has also authored and illustrated other manga, like Ayashi no Ceres, Absolute Boyfriend (Zettai Kareshi), Imadoki, and Fushigi Yuugi: Mysterious Play. Watase is incredible, and I hold her in high esteem as I do for Rumiko Takahashi, the creator of Inuyasha.

I’m not certain whether I have or not, but I feel like I’ve written fan fiction for FY Genbu Kaiden. I had a strange habit of writing all my fan fiction in spiral notebooks at school—usually during math class—and I would type them up when I got home. So, it may be possible that I’ve written a Genbu Kaiden fic, but never got around to typing it up or posting it. Nonetheless, I do plan to write a fic or two for Genbu Kaiden. I absolutely loved Takiko and Uruki, and each and every one of the other celestial warriors. I preferred Genbu Kaiden to the original Fushigi Yuugi, Takiko was a lot more admirable and not so airheaded.

Hm, so I’ve supposedly been working on chapter 25 of A Deeper Destiny.. at least, that’s what I should have been doing. I decided to slow down and reassess a couple of things. The copious droves of readers I once had are, unfortunately, no more. I guess a year on hiatus was just too much for them to wait out patiently.

Regardless, I’ll continue to work on ADD, but this time, at a more leisurely pace, until reader interest begins to pick back up. I do, however, have other pieces in mind that have been waiting to come into existence.

I’ve entertained the idea for some while now, and I’ve finally got a solid plot down—at least, that’s what I say now. It’ll be an Inuyasha / YuYu Hakusho crossover, starring my second favorite pairing, Youko Kurama and Kagome Higurashi. This will be an AU (alternate universe) fic in which Kagome and Naraku exist, but are not in their canon setting, nor have any relation to their canon plot. They will be OOC, but somewhat similar to their canon selves. Youko will remain, for the most part, as his usual self. & sorry, everyone, but Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha & Co, nor Yusuke and the gang will be there.

Oh, & I’m still accepting requests for one-shots! I’ll do lemons, limes, angst, and fluff, with a maximum of three characters. I’m sorry, but I won’t accept any requests for yuri or yaoi, nor any requests for pairings that I do not approve of, such as Sess/Rin.

So the link above takes you to the video of the theme song for the 2008 Chinese film, Red Cliff. It’s sung by alan, a Chinese singer of Tibetan descent. alan, though ethnically Chinese, has achieved greater fame in the Japanese music industry. This song translates, I believe, into Heart War in English, and is entitled Shin Sen in Japanese, though I’ve seen it go by the name Kokoro Ikusa.

I’ve heard both the Japanese and Chinese versions, but can’t decide which I like better. Both are equally beautiful in that hauntingly elegant way. Anyway, to the point–I want to write a fan fic based on this song. If not, then I may bring it into A Deeper Destiny, somehow. It seems sort of fitting, since the fic initially began in China.

Below are the lyrics, translated into English:

Ahhh, a big, heartfelt, chocolate-covered thanks goes out to DarkAnubisPuppy, who has officially made my night! I returned to MM.org just a few days ago, and updated A Deeper Destiny, but it seems like my readers have forgotten about it… However, I posted The Weight of Your Words just today, and got my first review… in like FOREVER. As fan fiction authors, we cannot take sole credit of our work, nor make profit from it, but we continue to write, for our mutual love and passion for anime and manga, for praise and camaraderie, and of course, for reviews, hehe. But that is the life of a fan fic author, in lieu of money and fame, we accept accolades and that warm, fuzzy feeling of belonging. As I type this up, I continue to receive e-mail notifications that tell me DarkAnubisPuppy is reading and reviewing the rest of my fan fics, and it seems I remember all too well why I loved writing fan fiction. Thank you, so much, DarkAnubisPuppy.

Sneak Peek!

The summer sky had faded from its fiery reds and deep oranges to a deep and quiet blue speckled with stars, and Sesshoumaru, seated amongst the roots of an old, wizened peach tree, perched over a riverbank, had failed to notice the passage of time. It was the soft murmur of grass beneath dainty footsteps that broke the Taiyoukai out of his reverie.

Someone was slowly approaching the riverbank opposite. A delicate sniff brought him the scent of sunshine, sakura, and morning dew—the scent of a crisp spring morning. Kagome.

So, this initially started off as an assignment for my AP Literature & Composition class. It was supposed to demonstrate plot, character development, etc. Unfortunately for me, I never finished it, nor did I turn it in. Out of sheer boredom, I decided to turn it into a slightly angsty, somewhat waffly one-shot. Sorry everyone, no hentai here. I may develop the story more later, I’ll know by the reaction I get from my readers.

In a flash, Sesshoumaru stood stooped above her, clawed hand wrapped around her slender neck. He couldn’t understand. He, the emotionless Taiyoukai of the West, never showed any sign of weakness. But here he was, letting his aura wreak havoc in the physical plane, all for the observation of one very observational miko.

“You will speak of this to no one,” he growled quietly, staring into her eyes. She was calm, her face belied no emotion and her pulse had not quickened beneath his claws. Her eyes were hard as they stared back, flashing indignantly. He felt the surge of miko power from within her body and released her throat.

I think that’s enough of a sneak peek for all of you. This fic is still, as of yet, untitled. As soon as I’ve figured out a title and done some tweaking, I’ll post it up on mediaminer.org. ‘Til then, Jaa.
